I’m a big Henman fan but that’s a pretty silly statement. Rios, Mecir, Enqvist, Davydenko, Nalbandian, Philippoussis, Pioline, Coria, Haas, Grosjean and Norman are very arguably better than Henman, though Henman at his best could easily and has beaten all of them.
I don’t know but perhaps, maybe, he learned it from Pete Sampras. Masters Cup 1996 Final match vs Boris Becker. It’s not just because it’s Sampras (or it is) but Sampras did it mutch better. Watch that match.
Great video. Shame Henman couldn’t have won Queens. I always felt against Hewitt that if he had have stayed back a little more, ne may have beaten him more than just the once. I feel this as Hewitt loved a target, and when playing his best, always seemed to be able to hit that ‘special pass/lob’. In my opinion, Henman was the best player not to win a slam.
At the time, I was rooting heavily for Ivanisevic to win that match and the whole tournament. Looking back, though, I kinda feel bad that Henman never could get it done. (He could have beaten Rafter in the final, too. Agassi might have been a different story, though.) Other than maybe Todd Martin, nobody deserved to have a major title more than Henman.
This was Henmans year to win Wimbledon. Only the rain delay saved Ivanisevic, Henman had that much in control. He finally didn’t have to go through Sampras and still failed to win it. Great career anyhow.
I was just pointing out that this guy is a big supporter of Henman and he even describes in the description to try and avoid receiving comments like that, I don’t see how I’m getting ‘upset’. Maybe you get upset by strangers on youtube, but I don’t.
“Maybe that’s something you need to work on as you get a bit older”
My apologies. I’ll work on that. My comment still stands though, Its a very funny video, not seeing any winners from Hewitt. Henman is a more talented player actually than Hewitt, just a bit mentally fragile. It also seems like you are easily upset by comments posted here that are contrary to yours. Maybe that’s something you need to work on as you get a bit older?

Wish Henman was still playing, he was a decent British player. Can’t stand that miserable twat Murray!

He already stated in the description that this is Henman’s best points.

The best not to win a grand slam until Andy Murray came along

Love Henman’s fake at 4:40, he stole that point from Hewitt with that move.
