He is more special. He can easily take Nalbandian, Davydenko, Baghdatis, Blake, or Gonzalez in clean sets, and he won’t even be doing his best at his current level.
If you haven’t noticed, there’s a gigantic skill gap between the top 4 and anybody below them. Murray is the only one of the top 4 to not have won a single slam, yet he’s been getting progressively closer every time.

Why are you so obsessed with this player winning a slam,he might and might not,its not like he is destined for it,not more than any other player.Best player not to win a slam,you could say that for Nalbandian,Davydenko,Bagdatis,Blake,Gonzalez and some other players,nothing makes Murray any more special than those five.He played good match against Djokovic at Australian Open,he played good match against Nadal at Australian Open 2007,5 sets so what,is that make any difference.

i wish murray would take more risks when playing against the top guys. he’s fast and can cover a lot of court most players can’t, but when playing great attackers, running around in circles only go so far in my opinion. i think if he attacks more with his great defensive game, he would definitely win a GS!
