Do you realise that the man RUINED Wimbledon for me this year.. merely by being on it so much.. as a ‘commentator’. He repeats the phrase ‘you know’ every other two words when being interviewed (and I’m NOT exaggerating !). Listen to him ; ‘you know’ every two words.. on a couple of occasions it was every other WORD he said it.That’s even more than Beckham says it !. But Henman is supposed to be EDUCATED !. His replies are also liberally peppered with ‘sort of’ as well.All in that Jack Dee voice
Henman is a legend in my eyes. He never got the respect he deserves. Throughout his career he was a top 10 player & was 4th best in the world. He got to 4 Sw19 semis in 5 years. He was never better than Sampras or Hewitt but ppl put too much pressure on him to win those semis. In other words he achieved the most he could. He also brought entertainment in those thrilling games on centre court. Thats why he deserves a hill named after him.
