The British pair of Laura Robson and Andy Murray has been defeated in the final of the tennis mixed doubles competition of the London Olympics by the Belarusian pair of Max Mirnyi and Victoria Azarenka. The match was pretty close and could have gone either way. But, the Belarusian pair played well during the key moments of the game and won the match by 2-6, 6-3, 10-8. The match got finished in 1 hour and 22 minutes.

The British pair started in an aggressive mood and broke the service of the Belarusian pair in the first and the third game of the opening set. The British pair won the first four games consecutively to take a lead of 4-0.
